The Renault Clio started it’s life way back in 1990 when Renault changed the name of the popular Renault 5 to the Clio. Replacing the Renault 5 was a daunting task – the former having sold nearly 6 million vehicles in 18 years – but the Clio was well received and became a huge success. The Clio has always been available as either a 3 door or 5 day hatchback. Now in it’s 5th generation (8 including “facelifts”) the Renault Clio goes from strength to strength.
The Renault Zoe is the French company’s supermini / city car. Introduced in 2013 the Zoe is an ELECTRIC car with no fossil fuel options. The Zoe is a great option for a new driver looking for something with an environmentally friendly power source. It’s worth checking any used Zoe has an up to date battery leasing agreement (often part of the actual warranty)
