The Toyota Yaris was released in 1999 and is still being produced now in it’s 4th generation. The Yaris is available as either a 3 door or 5 door hatchback with a variety of engine sizes from 1.0L to 1.8L in both Diesel and 16V petrol formats. The most popular version for a first car is the 3 door version in either the second generation (2006 to 2008) or third generation (2008 to 2011). The three door 1.0L VVT-i T2 is the perfect car for the new driver being a lowly insurance group 2.
