The Vauxhall Adam was first showcased at the Paris Motor show in 2012 and became publicly available in 2013. First question answered here – the name “Adam” comes from the founder of the Opel marque – ADAM OPEL. Production of the Adam stopped in early 2019. Available only as a 3 door hatchback – the Vauxhall Adam makes an excellent choice of first car with a wide range of engines from 1 to 1.4 litres (providing 70 to 115PS).
